Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Beth Weisberger BS, MS, DVM

Dr. Beth Weisberger, BS, MS, DVM

Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Weisberger became a partner in Clayton Animal Hospital in 1995 after working with Dr. Smith and Dr. Fergus. She is a member of the Humane Society Veterinary Advisory Board, Miami Valley Veterinary Medical Association, OVMA, and the AVMA.

When Dr. Weisberger is not at one of the clinics, she enjoys hiking, bicycling, and competing in three-day eventing with her horses. She has five rescue dogs, seven rescue cats, three horses, and a rescue donkey.

Dr. Nicole Tebbe AAS, BS, DVM

Dr. Nicole Tebbe, AAS, BS, DVM

Owner, Veterinarian

After working as a registered veterinary technician (RVT), Dr. Tebbe returned to Ohio State University to become a veterinarian. Her interests include preventative care, behavior, dentistry, and surgery. She is extremely excited to be a part of a busy practice with such knowledgeable and experienced doctors and staff!

​Dr. Tebbe shares the small farm she grew up on with her husband of almost 20 years, two Jack Russell terriers, a large, goofy Great Pyrenees, two retired thoroughbreds, and six cats. She enjoys reading novels and continuing to learn new things in her chosen profession daily.

Dr. Linda Adkins BS, DVM

Dr. Linda Adkins, BS, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Adkins grew up in Huber Heights and graduated from Wayne High School in 1989. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the Ohio State University. Dr. Adkins graduated from Veterinary School at the Ohio State University in 2000. She practiced here from 2001-2010 with Dr. Weisberger and Dr. Fergus. She moved to Youngstown and, after moving back, has been here since 2016. In addition to treating cats and dogs, she also enjoys treating reptiles and pocket pets. Dr. Adkins has two teenage daughters, and they have a whole house with five rescue dogs, four rescue cats, a bearded dragon, a chinchilla, a turtle, and fish. Besides caring for her family, she enjoys painting, crafting, outdoor activities, and rock concerts.

Dr. Ashley Appelhans BS, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Ashley Appelhans is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she completed a year-long internship in Louisville, KY. Since finishing her internship, Dr. Ashley has lived and practiced in the Greater Dayton Area.

Outside of Veterinary medicine, Dr. Ashley enjoys being outdoors with her partner and their dog, frequently hiking, camping or kayaking. She also plays rugby for the Dayton Area Rugby Club and serves in the United States Army Reserve Veterinary Corps.

Dr. Linda Adkins BS, DVM

Dr. Sierra Crotty BS, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Sierra Crotty received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2021 from the University of Missouri. While in veterinary school she helped to lead the raptor rehabilitation program. She spent the last year working as a mixed animal veterinarian and is now excited to be able to focus on exotics and small animals.

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her fur children TJ, Maxton, and Eleanor Louise (dogs) as well as her scaley children Marigold (bearded dragon), Tulip (leopard gecko), and her red-eyed tree frog triplets (Scotch, Bourbon, and Rye). Other hobbies include gardening, hiking, baking Gluten free snacks, and crocheting.
